First! Nice talking to you this morning. Instead of a Australian term, I've got an Australian joke.
An old Irishman is making his first trip to Australia. Over the years, many of his ancestors made the journey and most he never heard from again.
After an exhausting flight, he arrives at Australian immigration and a strapping young blonde customs officer began to ask the routine questions.
"Sir, are you carrying any firearms into Australia?"
"No lass, of course not, I'll not be needing firearms."
"Are you carrying any foodstuffs, or plant or animal material."
"No, miss, I imagined that you had food here that I could eat."
"And have you ever had a criminal conviction?"
"Oh dear, that I have not. I didn't realize you still needed one to get in here."
