A Scottish New Year Blessing

May those who love us, love us.
And those who don't love us,
May God turn their hearts;
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles,
So we will know them by their limping.

Happy New Year to All! We will all look forward to good stories to tell in 2009!

For last year's words belong to last year's language And next year's words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning. ~ T.S. Eliot

Greg, an Irish blessing for you for the new year...

"May you be poor in misfortune, rich in blessings, slow to make enemies, quick to make friends. But rich or poor, quick or slow, may you know nothing but happiness from this day foward."

Irish & Scottish blessings....reminds me of the "Boys of the Chorus" Irish blessing we sang for Skippy. Remember the coaching we got from the lovely Kelly K?
Looking forward to seeing in a few days. Anything you want me smuggle in from the Great White North?

Having been to both wonderful countries this summer, I completely appreciate these blessings.

Happy New Year Greg!
